Dana began her career as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2014 after completing the 700-hour program at Colorado School of Healing Arts. Her style is highly intuitive, integrating traditional Swedish relaxation techniques with deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, basic sports massage, and polarity therapy. Dana continued her education at Samadhi Center for Yoga and Meditation in 2015, where she completed the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and 50 hours of focused Yoga Nidra training with Jeremy Wolf. Yoga Nidra is Dana’s favorite practice to lead, although she also enjoys guiding mindful movement, restorative yoga, and breathwork classes.
Dana began working with sound in 2018 when she met her mentors Rodger Ruge, who taught her how to use tuning forks, Mike Cohen, who taught her the art of kirtan, and Joe Donnellan, who taught her to craft soundscapes for transformational breathwork ceremonies and yoga classes.
Passionate about integrative health and individualized care, Dana is excited to learn about your personal wellness goals and offer support however she can!
Every session is unique and catered specifically to you, so please share all special requests and feedback you may have directly with Dana before, during, and after your session.
Dana is a freelance therapist and the only LMT of Embodied Mind LLC, but she is dedicated to helping every individual find the care they need and recognizes that she may not always be the right fit for every person, so if you want to explore different Colorado therapists, check out our bodywork network here. Dana has personally worked with each person listed and is happy to answer any questions you may have about massage and the healing arts.

Integrative Massage

All of our sessions are unique and catered specifically to you and your present moment needs. All of the modalities listed above may be incorporated into your session, depending on what you are looking to achieve and how your body responds to different techniques.
You are encouraged to give your therapist verbal feedback!! Notice what feels right.. what doesn’t… and speak for what the body needs.
Massage happens in the context of relationship, and we are here to support you in every way possible through your healing journey.

Lavender Lemongrass Footscrub

Currently unavailable, but will be back soon! Epsom salts, lavender, and lemongrass essential oils are infused into sesame oil to ground, nourish, and and replenish the feet. This treatment begins and ends with warm towels to prepare the pours to fully take in the sweet softness offered by this hand-made, organic foot scrub. The rough texture of the epsom salts is simultaneously invigorating, acting as a fantastic catalyst for dropping fully into the body at the beginning or end of your massage.

Nidra Sound Massage

Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation technique that gently and quickly brings the listener into a very deep state of physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Over several years of experimenting with the integration of Yoga Nidra with Massage Therapy, we have found that the healing properties of both modalities are amplified when combined. Solfeggio frequency tuning forks are also used to aid in the balancing of the Nervous System.
