About

Who am I?

A beautiful question to walk, sit, and lay with as you approach a massage, yoga, or meditation experience.
Others to consider may be:
What am I?
How am I? How do I feel?
How is my breath? Where is my breath flowing and restricted?
Does changing my breath change the experience within and around my feelings?
How can I grow, change, and age without pain and strain?
How can I live free from the aches, weight, and burdens of my past?

These are some of the questions that drove me in my own healing and Yogic journey, learning from a variety of teachers and mentors across the Front Range, out into the Colorado Rockies, and down south to Santa Fe, NM. My name is Dana Ripley, the founder of Embodied Mind Healing, seasoned massage therapist, yoga instructor, meditation guide, and nature enthusiast dedicated to integrative health and creative exploration.
While I got my start in Colorado and continue to accept appointments on my visits home, I am now rooted and growing my practice in Port Charlotte, Florida.
My professional development unfolded alongside a deep love for nature, where I have most enjoyed sharing the art of massage and the practice of yoga.
I began my career as a massage therapist in 2014, after completion of the 700-hour program at The Colorado School of Healing Arts, and immediately began a 200-hour training at Samadhi Center for Yoga and Meditation where I went on to complete the Level One and Two Yoga Nidra Trainings with Jeremy Wolf. There, I grew more intrigued with the body-mind connection and passionate about integrative therapy. I started to volunteer at Healing Waters Float Center in Northglenn, CO, where I began to experiment with how to best combine different bodywork and meditation techniques alongside sensory deprivation “float” therapy.
This spark of curiosity and enthusiasm lead to the creation of Mahamuna Healing Arts, an earlier name for my practice, that took root at Cloud Nine Float Center in Boulder, back in 2018. While there, I met and learned from several mentors in the art of transformational breathwork and sound healing, which have been integral aspects of my practice ever since.
In 2019, my partner and I decided to move to the San Luis Valley with the dream and vision of building a healing retreat space, and I changed my business name to Embodied Mind Healing. While the dream didn’t come to full fruition, it did end up being a transformative time of healing and retreat for myself. I lived in Center through May of 2022, where I worked out of my home office and accepted contract work through Joyful Journey Hot Springs and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort. All the while, I continued taking house calls on the Front Range and along the way while growing a clientele in Salida, where I went of to live and teach Yoga through May 2023.
I have since continued learning and evolving my practice through Sound Healing, Reiki (energy work) and Watsu (aquatic massage/bodywork), all of which are available as stand alone offerings or in combination with Yoga and table massage.
