SO HUM

Take a deep breath.

Fill the torso with air in the same way you would fill a glass with water.
Pouring spacious air into the low belly and watching it rise in the abdomen,
up into the chest to the top of the lungs.
The collar bones gently lift and spread at the top of each inhale.

The entire torso, overflowing with spacious tranquility.

Exhale completely.

Pour out the breath in the same way you would a glass of water.
First emptying the throat and chest,
Squeeze out the bottom of your lungs as you draw the belly button in towards your spine.
Exhaling completely.
Expelling toxins and tensions from every cell in the body.

Invite a pause at the top of each inhale, repeat the mantra SO to yourself mentally.

Invite a pause at the bottom of each exhale, repeat the mantra HUM to yourself mentally.

SO, I am.

HUM, that.

I am that I am that I am that I am that I am.

Know that you are breathing. Know that you are.

Watch thoughts, memories, sensations, and experiences flow in and out of your mind in the same way your breath flows in and out of your body.

What are you?

How are you?

Are you?

I am.
